We're a family owned pet service business. We offer all kinds of services and products to take care of and spoil your pet including full service dog and cat grooming, self serve dog wash, dog training, daycare, pet photography, homemade pet toys, treats, and cakes! We believe that your pet should come first, so our priority will always be to make your pet comfortable, healthy, and happy. We treat each dog in our care like they're our own personal dogs (who are incredibly spoiled). We can't wait to meet you and your pets!
Our Story
It's a Ruff Life LLC started as a small home based business run by a husband and wife team (Trevyn & Tiffany) who both have a long history of working with animals; Tiffany as a groomer and Trevyn as a dog trainer. After a short time, they were blessed with having so much clientele, they had a need to expand. A local business called the Paw Spaw went up for sale and was purchased by It's a Ruff Life LLC. We now have multiple employees and are excited to continue to work in this wonderful community to care for your pets in any way we can!

Trevyn comes to It's a Ruff Life with over 8 years of experience professionally training dogs. He has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology where he studied human and dog behavior and how they interact. He also has a separate CPDT-KA certification from the Association of professional dog trainers. He's volunteered with 3 different animal shelters on their behavior and training team to help train out problematic behaviors and make the dogs more adoptable. He also is an approved AKC Canine good citizen evaluator.
Trevyn and Tiffany have 6 dogs who they do everything with. They currently do show confirmation, agility, and tricks as well as CGC. Thor, one of their show dogs was recently in the top 10 in the nation for toy poodles in the owner handled series.

Tiffany has been around animals her entire life. She grew up breeding and showing dogs and has extensive experience from her time working for a professional handler. She also spent several years working as a vet assistant furthering her animal husbandry skills. She's worked in three different grooming salons grooming dogs of all breeds ending up as the salon lead at a local grooming shop before starting her own grooming salon from our home. After a short time, she started It's A Ruff Life LLC with Trevyn. In her spare time she enjoys all dog sports, training & competing with dogs in conformation, agility & trick training.

Alyssa has been involved with all kinds of animals her whole life! She grew up in a home breeding toy poodles and showing all different breeds of dogs. She also has worked in a vet clinic alongside her mom and her sister for 7 years as a vet assistant. She’s also a photographer and has helped us with several pet events and does private photo sessions for people and their pups (and cats!). Now she grooms all kinds of dogs and enjoys not only helping them be healthy, but also happy and looking their best! At home, she has 3 dogs (Esper, Belle, and Jersey), a horse (Suri), and 4 sheep. Angela has over 4 years of experience working in a pet retailer helping customers with all their pet's needs from nutrition to training. She's also volunteered walking dogs as well as assistant teaching dog training classes at the Willamette Humane Society. At home she has three fur-kids; two dachshunds named Arabelle & Schatzi and a medium sized mixed breed named Ranger. Here at it's a Ruff Life, Angela gets the pleasure of working with our daycare dogs!

Makayla has worked with dogs for about 3 years professionally, from military working dogs to daycares and bathing. She has also owned and trained her own as well as other family member's dogs from a very young age. She currently has a small dog named Marvel, “Marv” for short, who goes everywhere possible with her! They love to go to the beach and for hikes when they can but also enjoy a good day on the couch. "My passion is caring for animals as best as I can both at work and at home!" At It's a Ruff Life, Makayla gets to continue with her passion by helping out as a bather and daycare attendant!
